ABOUT ME:
It was 1978.
The Bee Gees ruled the airwaves, Jimmy Carter was president, and Three’s Company was the top rated TV entertainment.

With inspiration everywhere, a young Robby Hoke was just entering into the Louisville School of Art to become what he thought would be the next greatest painter in America.
Little did he know that ability had other plans.

Making a smart (some say life saving) decision in his senior year, Robby switched from painting to photography. In the twenty-seven years since putting down the brush and picking up the camera, Robby, the president of Alliance Photography Group, has won numerous design, advertising, and photography awards.

Keeping ahead of the competition is what has kept Alliance Photography Group, servicing local and national clients for over 30 years.

“I regularly tell people breaking into the business, you still have time to get into something easier than photography, have you thought of brain surgery?”

Personal facts:

"I'm afraid of spiders, love bourbon, and usually need a haircut."

Robby-
Somehow got a week behind on home email. I'm so 20th century that way. Thanks for the kind words, and I'll add that most of the stuff in that slideshow IS amature. I'm just lucky I had several years to do what I pleased before I decided to make a living at it!

*hugs* Oh, no worries. I think everyone on that page was replying to Bill. I thought you were talking to me though, since it came in right below my post.
HAHA! Love the photo of you rubbing your eyes! That is you right?

Hey man, how you been?

I like that self-portrait. Taken during a recent furniture shoot, perhaps?

There's some really nice stuff in that slide show!
