in doing a little shooting at the Baxter Ave. Train Station with me? I would love to go there but (to be perfectly honest) I'm a little scared. I figured we might have safety in numbers? If anyone is interested we'll work out details later but I would like to go in the next couple of weeks. Also, if anyone has reason why I shouldn't go feel free to share that as well. I could easily be persuaded against the adventure even though I'm feeling pretty fearless today (as fearless as a chicken could be!)
I have been wanting to photograph the train station but am scared to go alone. I would love to go and am available anytime although weekends would work better for me.
The great adventure Baxter Ave Train Station shoot out (how's that for a name?) will be held Sunday May 18th at 10:00am. I hope to see everybody there!
It may be possible to park in the Win.net parking lot and walk over. I'll try to get a hold of Joe Mays and ask...
Also, anybody bringing a makeup kit or artist?
What lighting gear is everyone bringing? Anybody bringing a battery pack for strobes?
Of course it may be moot if I can't get away from the kids....
If we need to carpool I'd be happy to drive from a larger parking area, we'll wait and see what Jonas comes up with. My truck with hold 7 people. As far as gear~I'm not really sure yet. I have never been there so maybe someone who has can give us a better idea as far a lighting goes. I know I want to pack as light as possible but I want to be prepared as well. Also, if anyone has ever been there and had a vision of a great shot that required a model it looks like we have several photogenic people going along. If you've been there and already have an idea be sure to put it out there and we'll see what we can do to make it happen. I've learned that having photographer friends also means being their models (victims) from time to time. I can't wait to meet everyone!
