The Beat - Second Line in Algiers, New Orleans 2008.

At this time on the third anniversary of Hurricane Katrina, Hurricane Gustav is expected to head into the Gulf of Mexico and towards New Orleans. It is predicted that Gustav will reach the city late Monday or early Tuesday as a Category 3 Hurricane. Given these circumstances the events I was slated to photograph have been postponed. Almost everything else in New Orleans has been postponed and/or is on hold until the storm passes and the weather clears. I hope for the safety of all my friends there and for everyone else in the path of this season's storms.
