When Krystle messaged me asking if we could do a
Holiday Light session and wanting to be more dark....I went overboard. Krystle was a sport. I made her wear 7 inch ballet heels! I had our makeup artist and an assistant help keep her from killing herself!

Makeup/Hair: Andrea Ahl
Awesome assistant and Lighting Guru: J.J Henderson (He came up with the most amazing idea's for the holiday lights!)…

It has been a very busy and wonderful few weeks. I just wanted to share some pictures of pictures and other things.
But first I have to share one of my biggest fears in the world. The EVIL escalator. Going up isn't so bad...it is riding down! I just do not like it, who thought it was a good idea to design those things with little teeth like groves.
One of my pictures took 2nd place in the People Category.

I wanted to share this link i had found today, i have known it existed just didnt know the name, it is an organization and maybe you all have heard of it. They ask for photogs to volunteer their services to take pictures of Premature babies and sometimes with their families depending on the situation, particular for families of children that are born so early their chances of survival is minimal. Many times these families just can't afford a photographer and the type of pictures professionals…

STUDIO E PHOTOGRAPHY - Louisville, Kentucky....
One year to the day, Andrea & Brett returned to the place they met for their
engagement photos. They met on March 27, 2009 at Einstein Bagels in
Downtown, Louisville. For the shoot, we hit some cool spots like 21c Museum
Hotel and other areas around Main Street. It was a joy capturing the playful
and loving way Andrea…

Eastern designed a photography shoe for the Van's Custom Culture Shoe Design Contest. We are the only school in Kentucky to make the top five in the Southeast. We now have a 1 in 5 chance at getting free trips for students to LA and $10,000 for the art department. We could really use the money since our budget has been cut in half this year. Please help us by going to
http://vans.com/customculture/vote.html and voting for our shoe. It would…

Since I love photography, i am a little more selective than the average bride. I need a photographer who does well in low light. Any suggestions?

It's a little late, but they are still taking submissions of black and white photos, so I thought I'd forward this message from Jess Wade --

I'm not only into Photography, but I've been an apprentice to world renowned Master Potter, Melvin Rowe, since April of 2008. I can't say enough about how having Melvin and his wife, Vivian, take me under their wings has changed my life for the better. I consider them family. Melvin is a patient teacher and I have learned much from him, even though I know I have only just begun to scratch the surface of what there is to know about pottery. It's a very hands on and time intensive process. When…

Just wanted to ask people to go to the
barebrush monthly website--
http://www.barebrush.com/NOTM/index.html
Consider the options up for the Curator's Choice poll, and choose the one you like best. Of course, honestly, I'm hoping the one you like best turns out to be October 1st, but vote your conscience.
Thanks for your time.
