Still shoot with my 30-year old Nikon FM film camera I got when I was 18, now scanning the negs (miss the DARKROOMS!); also use a point-and-shoot digital for family snaps, as well as for a certain portfolio; am currently getting my "cache" of pics over three decades ready for potential showings.
MY DIGITAL DARKROOM:
I'm assembling my "digital darkroom" presently (December 2011). I don't stress equipment, brands or models in doing my work - I have only ever needed a camera and a way to print to make photographs the way I hope they turn out that instant I'm inspired to click the shutter.
ABOUT ME:
After a year studying photography at a community college, I got FT work as a newspaper photographer. The next year, I enrolled in Tyler School of Art's Photography program (Temple University, Philadelphia). I have worked in many fields for a living, most recently as a librarian.
