"I photographed some exotic homemade soap for somebody. I too did it in white. I wasn't particulary happy or impressed with the results but the client loved them. I got $200 for about 4 hours work."

Product photography??? what to charge?

hope you talented guys and gals have some insight for me... i am been asked to do some product photography (of skincare products, used to feature items on website) and i am not sure what to charge? i am thinking by the product as opposed to "by the hour." what is the going rate for "by the product?" $10? 20? more, less???? thanks in advance for the help!!! :)~sarahSee More
