Profile Information

LEVEL OF EXPERTISE:
I think I am a Pro!
I SHOOT THE FOLLOWING:
Artistic
MY PHOTO GEAR:
Mamiya 645 Pro TL, Rolleiflex T, baby Rolleiflex 4x4,Canon AE-1 Program, Mamiya C33, Kodak Retina IIa, and lighting equipment so old I think it's one of the models the guy built in his garage before selling the design to Novatron. I seem to be one of the last people to shoot b&w film!
MY DIGITAL DARKROOM:
Mac
Adobe Photoshop CS2
ABOUT ME:
Well, I *say* I think I'm a pro because I do what I do very well, but a lot of people don't seem to think it counts unless you shoot nekkid women, weddings, kids, or lifestyle portraits.

I'm originally from Dallas, TX and graduated from Texas A&M-Commerce (formerly East Texas State University) with a B.S. in photography. Commercial photography wasn't for me so I got into digital imaging. I worked at a high-end printing and digital services gallery (Coupralux) in downtown Dallas for several years, running their Heidelberg drum and Kodak Pro scanners as well as creating ICC profiles, color correcting, and editing. When the improvement of digital cameras affected our business I free-lanced as an assistant to an architectural photographer and also as a digital assistant to a commercial photographer. I've moved a couple of times since and hadn't worked in photography for awhile. I now spend time editing and assisting for an extremely talented portrait photographer friend here in Louisville.
