Yes the water was in the buildings. Some to a greater degree than others. 4 animals were lost but many were swimming. Mostly just a big muddy mess to clean up. It could have been much worse. Jim recovering from bothrops SB didn't help.

how bad was the flooding? did water get into the buildings that are raised on blocks (i.e. where the taipans are kept)?

Jason you may be right. The identifying labels were missing as a result of the flood.

A 200 f2.8 would have made this shot so much better. Darn all those "before photography needs" like food and shelter.

gary i thing i got about 2or3 good shots but i am haveing trouble puting them on the site, i shot in raw format and i tried to resize the picz to put them on and it keeps telling me that the file was to large..idk i guess i will keep trying

Yea Albert it was fun. The cold didn't bother me as much as I thought it would. I would much rather do it in warm weather though. Did you get any good shots?
