Sean: In some cases like the Waterhole photo we were very close. I could have reached out of the vehicle and touched some of the Zebra's as they totally ignored us. The 3 lens that I used the most were 24-105, 70-200 and for a lot of the birds…
Thanks for the comments on the Tanzania images. The waterhole image with the elephant I have printed as a 24x36 framed on a wall in the house. It was an incredible opportunity.

ABOUT ME:
I just love making images and was lucky enough to retire early and can enjoy photography. I photograph sports, landscapes, florals & wildlife and anything else of interest. Occassionally I even get paid.
When I shot for the Voice Tribune and the Evening News in Jeffersonville I went all kind of places, now its a "Who You Know" thing. I talked to Ryan Ambrust about how he went about getting media passes and he told me how he did it, I contacted the Kentucky Speedway about the upcoming Indy race and they might as well told me to kiss their ass. I have shot there many time before.
Kent: Thanks. I have a friend who managed to get hot passes for the Atlanta NASCAR race so I could really go anywhere I wanted that day. The F1 I had general admission and everything I shot was through the fences. I would like to do more but it's really hard to get access and you may know that better than me.
Great photo's...Do you shoot alot of racing? I have shot alot of ARCA for Frank Kimmel. I have been looking for a way to shoot more racing, any suggestions?
