Hey Adam i dont know if i will put any of the photos from the soap box derby up. Its a pain to resize them and i am kind of lazy sometimes. Here is a link to the gallery they put up for the CJ. , Aaron http://www.courier-journal.com/apps/pbcs.dll/gallery?Avis=B2&Dato=20090426&Kategori=DERBYFUN03&Lopenr=904260804&Ref=PH

Hey Adam, yea i had fun shooting the soap box derby. I was starting to get sick though...no bueno! I am starting to get better though so i am trying to get everything organized and post some photos from the event. Did you get anything cool that day?

Great basketball shots you posted in that lighting question thread. Glad you spoke up about the high speed sync too. I didn't want to get in an argument over it. =)

Nice meeting you too. You'll have to share your set when they're ready.

Thanks for the feedback. So you've got a really fast lens and a camera that'll shoot low noise high ISO's. I've got a D90 Nikon and I can shoot 3200 with acceptable noise but my current lens needs to be upgraded if I want to shoot low light indoors like that sounds like. I'm also assuming either 3D tracking autofocus or preset focus?

Thanks for the advice on the lens...I have a Sigma that I am currently testing and am able return if I am not happy with. How do you go about getting some of the event photographer jobs you have had such as that with the tennis event at Freedom Hall. I am not looking for events this big at this time, but would like to get started with some smaller events.

Adam, Since you are apparently the "lens expert" could you let me know what you have heard or think about the Sigma 70-200mm f/2.8 DG HSM II Macro Zoom Lens for Canon. I am looking for a faster lens so that I can shoot more sports and in HS gyms a 2.8 is crucial due to terrible lighting. I have heard that the Canon 70-200 f/2.8 IS that you won is the best but am looking for a slightly more affordable option.
