Thanks, Don--I was shooting from the side using available light while Jonathan and our assistant were doing a portrait from the front. Our Quantum was used for Jon's image, but I shot at the same time and used it to my advantage. We did a combination of de-saturation, tone-mapping, and a soft grunge effect that we created. We then restored her skin tone to keep it warm and go against the cold steel of the railing. I love this image--it earned me another PPA International Print Merit and was on display at Imaging USA this year. I love the pastel look of it.
