Website Lags

Just wondering if the addition of the chat feature has caused some lags when traversing pages. Seems mostly noticeable in the forums where the pages don't scroll down but kinda hang then catch up.

Just thought I would ask.

I can disable the chat feature for a day to see if this helps.
It all runs smooth as silk for me.

Im setting up my desktop right now, going to see if it does it on there.....

Even at work I get lag on this site since the chat went live. It's not a speed issue simply because my download speeds at work are 69176 kbps. Yes, that's 70 Mbps.

As a test, it would be interesting to disable the chat feature and have the site regulars monitor the performance.

Ok not sure if this matters....
If I go to my own page, it's not as laggy as it is elsewhere on the site....
If I go onto the front page, it is VERY laggy...
If I go to the forum page, its still pretty laggy....

I don't have any issues with lag...If it helps,
I am using Mozilla Firefox on a HP Touch smart Laptop with Vista 64 Bit and 4 GB of ram.

My Internet is 759 Kbps (According so some website testy thing).
