The Next Meet-Up.....Let's have some sort of theme that's not tired and worn out, eh?

The nice weather is on the way. I wouldn't mind doing another night-shots event when it warms up a bit. But I'm just wondering if anybody has any ideas they're wanting to pursue. I'm thinking of Saturday, Feb. 13th for a possible date. Some people don't care about shooting buildings....so another possibility is that some of us might even take turns modeling for the others. Granted, I'm nothing to look at but it beats shooting a tree. I do however know of a few good looking trees. Hmmm.
At any rate, OK...so you can shoot a building. But can you shoot the building with somebody in the foreground and have both properly exposed? It's time to hone those skills. This is obviously aimed at the junior members...you know, the ones who would actually show up to a meet.

I'll get the ball rolling with Feb. 13th. The rest will be filled in by the interested party. Once general interest refines the meet-up specifics then an 'event' will be posted.

Ok. I didn't read any of this but shoot me another message when you all work out the kinks.

I have a crazy schedule, not even looking at the fun stuff, but I'll see if I can work it out.
*Poke*....updates?
For those interested in a Nightshots meet-up.......I'm going to narrow it down to two dates and see what the general consensus is on them. Wednesday, Feb. 24th or Thursday, Feb. 25th.
We could meet in front of the Arts center as we did at the first Nightshot meet-up or we could meet at the 4th St. Live are, as we did in the 2nd meet-up. Myself, I prefer the Main St. area......or we could even meet in an entirely different area.
Thursday, Feb. 25th going once! Do I hear any bids for the 24th? Biddy-bidibidi-budda-bidibidibidibidi!

Thanks for setting this up. I can do the 25th
OK....others have expressed an interest in attending the Nightshots event Thursday night, the 25th of Feb.....So Thursday it is. Nobody has apparently voiced any objection to it.

Also, I think an interesting indoor location has possibly been found for the LW in the downtown area. The LW is tentatively planned for Saturday, March 27th.
Cant do the nightshots if its a weekday (have UPS) :/ but will totally come to the LW. Im game for whatever time slot for that as long as its not a Thursday.. so it all depends on the days.. It will be great to get some new ideas, Ive been giving out too many to the other students in class haha

Somebody expressed an interest in meeting near the new arena and walking up 2nd St bridge a ways to get nightshots of the arena under construction. It might make cool shots to have in the future. Whether that sounds interesting or not, that area might make a good meeting point for the Nightshots event.
if it is 60 degrees out, I will be there. But as a person who HATES cold....I can't do it unless it is 60 degrees or more.
I don't think it was that warm last time we did this Jami....but it wasn't that bad either. What? You can't operate your camera in a parka and gloves? :)
I think that sounds great! Is the 25th the date you guys decided on and if so, what time?
