This was brought up on a different board and I thought it was a really good discussion.

What are your goals for your business in 2010?

Here are mine:

1. 50 seniors (which ideally would be 2 a week from June to November)

2. 10-15 family sessions

3. 10-15 photographer mentor sessions

4. start using a projector and ProSelect

5. start using OCF with some outdoor sessions

6. design a soft-cover information booklet to send out to inquiring clients

7. earn at least 5 PPA merits toward a Master's degree

8. teach a Super Monday class next fall

9. redesign my Be The Trend website

10. offer more products and services to photographers (posing guide, retouching tips, etc.)

11. use boudoir sessions to bring in income for slower months

You sure you didn't forget anything ? ; )
Thanks, Rhonda. I sure hope so!

Nobody else has goals for 2010? :)
We do indeed--Jonathan and I are driving back from his family's home in East TN in the morning and we will be working on those goals tomorrow. We want to have it all listed before we start in on Imaging USA and KPPA State!

My New Year's goal is to stop arguing with people on the Internet.
You have a more realistic goal, Jacob? :-P

keep growing the biz. 09 was awesome...2010 looks like its gonna be bigger.
I finally thought of a New Year's Business Goal...

finally pass the inspection by the fire marshal at our studio... the first time.

We never pass it, because no matter if we fix everything from the last visit, he finds something new that was there last time anyway. Or he doesn't like the thing that we did that he told us to do. Personally, I just think he likes hanging out in our studio. It's those mom-jeans I bought.
My New Year's Resolution is to gather as much knowledge and experience I can so I can get even closer to my goal of someday owning a studio other than that in the basement of my house. I would love to own a boutique-style studio and offer my clients luxuries they wouldn't get anywhere else! Still got a ways to go though. I still have a lot to learn!
