Mentoring

I have seen a few different websites on the internet where photographers offer mentoring sessions, some group and some individual, for new photographers.  Does anyone know of any such animal in this neck of the woods?  All of the ones I have found are up north.  I have added a link to a couple of examples.

We need to find a large venue, somewhere that we can split off and do a little shooting and such.
As soon as we find a place, I'll set it up. I'd be happy to share what little I know with everyone.

Nah...but I will be glad to demonstrate the correct method of "cranial installation" of pantyhose.

Maybe we could start a thread for specific questions and areas some of us would like to learn/improve on. That away some of the more experiences photogs would have a better idea of what to prepare for ?

My studio offers very reasonably priced one on one, in-person mentoring. Although I'm not local any more (sad face) I do travel and have had several photographers travel to my studio (in Missouri) from out of state. Each mentoring session is customized depending on the needs of the photographer. Topics have included:

live photo shoots
in-person sales
studio & natural lighting
posing (high school seniors, families, business portraits, etc.)
business structure
pricing for profit
portfolio review
marketing
facebook marketing
senior rep programs
photoshop for portraits
etc.

So are we any closer to setting up some mentoring sessions? I see that there is a session for off camera flash for a fee but some of us can't afford the fees for some of these things unless someone is willing to let us be an assistant for the day or something to pay for it.
