Is everybody ready to get iced-in tonight??? Freezeout - Whoo Hoo!

I'm really NOT looking forward to all the ice that's supposed to be coming our way tonight. An I'm on call this week. It'll be my luck that I'll have to drive around in the thick of it.

We are lucky enough that we don't have to leave the house, and I made sure to have the fridge stocked, plenty of toilet paper and some good Netflix on the way. As long as we don't have an ice storm like Lexington had a few years ago that takes out the electricity for 3 weeks I'll be good, just bored.

Be careful if you have to be out in it!
Well aren't you quite the example for 'preparedness'....heh heh. But If we lose all power...between my battery back-up system and half-bastardized Macbook.....I've got well over 5 hours before the illuminated apple lid goes dim and I'm left sitting in the dark....provided I'm not sitting in Ice somewhere.
Whole house generator and a lifted 4x4!
Bring it mother nature, you unpredictable bitch!

That's funny. Yeah...I've got a 6kw diesel generator out back but the motor is in pieces at the moment. One of those "projects" that didn't quite get done. Hope I'm not out there trying to get wrenches unstuck from my skin....heh heh.
I'm ready to move, cold weather suxx! Actually, I don't mind the snow so much, its the ice/sleet/freezing rain that I don't like ...and the freak-uh-zoid drivers. =)

I am actually looking forward to it. I have been dying to get a macro shot with my lensbaby on a frozen plant life form. I think their might be some interesting opportunities form some creative pictures with a little imagination.
Something tells me by looking outside I should have gone to the shop for coffee
5:30am I'm up and at 'em. My buddy went out to investigate, he says it's pretty bad out there.
10:25AM YUP.....it's bad. Don't go out unless you have to. I went from Indiana, down 65 South, all the way to Gene Snyder.....mush and Ice.....and a few pile-ups.
Wimps! I walked a mile and a half through 7 feet of snow to school all winter for 5 years and y'all are scared by 2 inches?
