When I use a flash (Sb800) on my D700 it flashes three quick flashes then takes the shot.  I can't turn this off.  Took the flash off and put it on my D200 and it works fine so its something I have done in the menu of the D700.  The only thing I did before this started happening was turn off the Flash Sync speed from 320's to 250's. in the e bracketing/ flash custom setting.  I have tried everything.   I have misplaced my book at moment and don't know what to do next.  Anyone have any idea what i could do to fix this?

Now that I've eaten oatmeal, and I look at my D700 at the studio, I can say 100%, it's the "red eye" prevention. It's the same button that turns on 'rear' curtain, too.
