I saw some images at a Store that were Glossy.  I really like the look.  I have always printed mat, Its all my Lab offers.  So do you print glossy or Mat?

I usually print glossy but I really matte. Glossy works well with my style images cause it makes them pop
Matte I believe is called luster at my lab. I was always told glossy is bad but I think I will try some glossy. Thank you so much for your kind reply.
I think it really just depends on the photo both have their place so I wouldn't call either bad. I do a lot of surreal style images so the glossy just brings them to life in my opinion while matte looks flatter and more classy more for traditional stuff. But it's really all preference. I only print for homework and personal use my clients usually just want digital copies so I print from home on my canon printer using their glossy 2 paper and love it, it really helps my project images stand out from the rest of the class who prints from the school store with matte and even my teachers comment in how much they like my prints.
Lustre or Metallic. Never glossy.
