FLAKEY PHOTOGS!

OK folks, We had 22 people sign up for round 7 of the LPC Portrait Project. ONLY 10 turned in their photos!

What the hell?!

That's no even half!

I'm not trying to be an ass about this, but you had 15 days to snap ONE photo of ONE person. Not a very difficult task. This was not a hard deadline to meet.

In the future, please do not sign up if you have no intention of following through. I received quite a few emails from people stating that their portrait project partner flaked on them.

No good people.

Thanks to those of you that took the time to follow through.

Guilty.

Had I known I was going to be traveling so much these past three weeks I'd have passed on this project, even though I've been looking forward to it since barely missing the last one. Poor Charles is a victim to my busy work schedule.

I join the ranks to offer my apologies. Brittany and I tried to schedule and one damn thing turned up after another. Life and work got in the way. If anything, this project made me realize I'm going to have to make some serious changes if I am going to make a go of my business and still have a full time job.

I did turn my photo in this morning. It pretty much sums up my life in the past few weeks. :(

Which leads me to another topic, following directions.
Michele, submissions had to be turned in to me via email by Midnight.

Hey Ryan are we going to do round 8? If so a couple ideas, maybe have a 7 day deadline that if someones partner can't manage to get together let people post on here so if there 2 maybe the other 2 can team up? and how about next round we have a theme, just a general theme. Nothing to restrictive,,

Hey Ryan,

Maybe it was just me and I didn't read the directions thoroughly enough, but the pairings post was in a totally different place from the thread announcing the Portrait Project and I completely missed that until a couple of days before the deadline, which was too late to work out something with my partner. Maybe others had the same issue? If we could keep everything in the same place (for people like me, who evidently get confused easily) it would help to fool proof it a bit more. Just a thought.
