There are classes, but its only like three classes for $150 each so I think its pretty much pointless. Going to college to get your moneys worth is probably the best bet, but I also learn loads from going to seminars and just talking to other photographers. Cheaper too :)
ohh my english is not perfect I meant seminars, clinics...anything that I could learn from
but thanks for the answer:)

David Ziser is coming to town on June 8th for a 4 hour workshop in the evening. You can get more info and register here. If you use the discount code DWCDPT09 you can go for the reduced rate of $59. I have seen him speak a few times and it is well worth the $59 plus you get more than that in free stuff just for going. We have an event set up for it here on LPC and a few of us that go are thinking of meeting before or after the workshop.

You can also check Kentucky Professional Photographers Association (KPPA) for their workshops and seminars. Their next event is in Lexington in June. You can get more info here. They have another workshop in Louisville in Oct and then the state convention in Jan in Northern KY. They have great seminars and speakers, you just need to see who is coming and what they are speaking about but they publicize it way ahead of all events so you know who is coming.

Rosemary and I are not going to the June workshop but instead we are actually planning on going to the TN PPA state convention in August in Nashville for a change. We have been to the KPPA June thing many times but the TN convention is a full convention and will be a nice change.

You can also keep checking under the events here, it is a great place for all of us to share learning opportunities.

Hope this helps and to see you at some of these events,
Jonathan
Thank you so much:) I will check this out!!!
I second the David Ziser seminar. I've signed up already.
And isn't KPPA having something in Lexington that is coming up? *scratched head* Rosemary? Help me out.....
I should probably READ your entire post, huh?
Thanks! I just registered for that seminar.
