Boo, Oprah! If you send your photos to the show, Harpo owns them!
Not that I had any plans to submit any of my photos to the Oprah show (and I'm sure she wouldn't choose any even if I did), apparently if you send your photos to the Oprah show: "Harpo shall exclusively own all known or later existing rights to the Submissions worldwide and shall be entitled to the unrestricted use of the Submissions for any purpose in all media now known or hereafter discovered without compensation to the provider of such Submissions." http://bit.ly/mD3NF

I think the most entertaining part is that they not only want all rights forever, but all rights forever including any new medium that gets invented between now and forever. That's a long time. In 2475, when Oprah is a cyborg head that floats on a cheeseburger platter (and ruler of the universe, now called the O-verse!), she'll be using holographic napkins with your images on them to wipe her neckhole (yeah, thats on the bottom), but your enslaved descendants will not be allowed to trade holographic printing rights for sunlight on the coal planet.
