Approval to join?

Is there a waiting period now? I told another photographer about the site and even though he tried to join last night he is still being told that he is "pending approval" for joining. I couldn't find anything in the FAQ about it. His name is Don Lehman. He's got some nice work.

Well, Ryan is the admin and he is in Chicago right now, so it might take a bit to get the approval--he may not be able to check this right now. I am sure he will approve when he can!
